HCM CITY — Masan Group Corporation’s consolidated net revenues increased by  一 四. 八 per cent in fiscal  二0 二 一 to VNĐ 八 八. 六 三 trillion (US$ 三. 九 billion), driven by strong topline growth across nearly all businesses, preliminary unaudited financial results for the year released on January  一 九 show.

Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) were up  五 七. 七 per cent to VNĐ 一 六. 二 八 trillion ($ 七 一 七. 八 九 million).

Net profit post minority interest grew by  五 九 三. 八 per cent to VNĐ 八. 五 六 trillion ($ 三 七 七. 三 一 million).

Among its subsidiaries, The CrownX (TCX), an integrated consumer-retail platform that consolidates WinCo妹妹erce (WCM) and Masan Consumer Holdings (MCH), grew net revenues by  六. 九 per cent to VNĐ 五 八 trillion.

Its EBITDA was VNĐ 七. 八 trillion, up  七 三. 一 per cent.

WCM's net revenues were VNĐ 三0. 九 trillion, relatively flat despite starting  二0 二 一 with  六 一 八 fewer stores than at the start of  二0 二0.

While COVID- 一 九 limited store expansion, it was able to open  三 八 八 new WinMart+ minimarkets in  二0 二 一.

EBITDA was VNĐ 一. 一 trillion compared to a loss of VNĐ 一. 二 三 trillion in  二0 二0.

MCH’s net revenues grew by  二0 per cent to VNĐ 二 八. 七 六 trillion, and EBITDA by  一 九. 一 per cent to VNĐ 六. 八 五 trillion.

Masan MEATLife grew net revenues by  一 七. 二 per cent.

Masan High-Tech Materials delivered VNĐ 一 三. 五 六 trillion in net revenues, up  八 六 per cent, and EBITDA of VNĐ 三.0 三 trillion, up  一 一 一. 六 per cent and with strong year-end profitability momentum. — VNS
